The shoulder is one of the most complicated joints in the body, and unfortunately, it is also one of the joints most frequently affected by injury and pain. Dr. Bushnell has advanced subspecialty training in shoulder surgery, and a majority of his practice focuses on shoulder conditions.
While many shoulder problems can be treated without surgery, sometimes an operation is necessary. Dr. Bushnell has performed several hundred successful rotator cuff repairs as well as numerous shoulder replacements, shoulder fracture repairs, and other shoulder surgeries.
He has lectured on the international level several times about shoulder conditions, and he has published numerous articles throughout several orthopedic journals on various shoulder topics. He is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, a prestigious professional society.
Dr. Bushnell has advanced training in the evaluation and management of both common and complex problems in the shoulder.
